The official website of UEFA has officially announced that the 2024 European Football Championship (UEFA EURO 2024) will be held in Germany. This is the second time that Germany has hosted the European Cup since 1988, and it is also the first time that Germany has hosted the European Cup alone since its reunification. The European Cup will be held from June 14 to July 14, 2024 in 10 world-class stadiums and gymnasiums in 10 cities of Germany, with 24 teams participating in 51 games.

The draw ceremony of the European Cup will be held in Hamburg, Germany, on December 2, 2023, when the match situation and playing field of each group will be determined. As the host, Germany is the seed team of Group A and will occupy the A1 position, so they will participate in the opening game of the European Cup on June 14 at the Allianz Stadium in Munich. The final of the European Cup will begin on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany.

The teams participating in the European Cup will be composed of the host Germany team and 23 teams that have been qualified in the qualifying match. The qualifier will be held from March 23, 2023 to March 26, 2024, and a total of 53 men's national teams from UEFA member countries will participate. The group draw for the qualifying match was held in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 9, 2022. 53 teams were allocated to 10 qualifying groups, including 5 teams in each of 7 groups and 6 teams in each of 3 groups.
