The draw ceremony of the European Cup will be held in Hamburg, Germany, on December 2, 2023, when the match situation and playing field of each group will be determined. As the host, Germany is the seed team of Group A and will occupy the A1 position, so they will participate in the opening game of the European Cup on June 14 at the Allianz Stadium in Munich. The final of the European Cup will begin on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany.
The teams participating in the European Cup will be composed of the host Germany team and 23 teams that have been qualified in the qualifying match. The qualifier will be held from March 23, 2023 to March 26, 2024, and a total of 53 men's national teams from UEFA member countries will participate. The group draw for the qualifying match was held in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 9, 2022. 53 teams were allocated to 10 qualifying groups, including 5 teams in each of 7 groups and 6 teams in each of 3 groups.
